Mercedes G-Class 6x6 – Director: Matt Berndt

Rather than fabricating a storyline, this film was shot in the remote wilds of the Namibian desert as a pure demonstration of this amazing prototype in action. However, being some 2000 miles from the nearest rental house - being miles from anywhere - did cause a few logistical problems, so a small crew with a Red Epic and a drone were much easier and more satisfactory than the customary helicopter and Russian Arm.

This approach gave far greater flexibility and creative opportunities; affording access to difficult, normally inaccessible areas, including a precarious cliff which proved to be no problem for this remarkable monster vehicle. The whole point of the film being to 'boldly show success where others would fail or falter'.

Matt is renowned for his genius with cars and his reel further endorses this. If you'd like to talk to Matt about your next car project and about pushing the boundaries, we'd be happy to arrange such a meeting.
