"Iceland; a truly magical island in any weather conditions. It rained for 3 of the 4 shoot days, but we were rewarded with one perfect day and between showers we used the conditions to create very dramatic settings and a midnight sunset.

You have to be flexible – like turning an old hanger into an open air studio or staging the opening of the film in the garage of your unit base – and making it all look fantastic. We did our homework, we communicated well with our clients and convinced them that the bad weather was to our advantage; it was and it ended up being a very special film..

Note: The helicopter shots used a non-stabilized camera and because the maneuvers were wide angle we were able to get really close to the car. Less is more sometimes!" Matt Berndt
